Itinerary

The tour commences on Day 1 at Masai Mara post check-in and concludes on Day 5 after breakfast.

Day 1:
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi followed by a scenic drive to Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, soak in the wild surroundings, and then head out for your first safari—a perfect introduction to the rich landscapes and iconic wildlife of the Mara. Return by evening for dinner and rest.

Day 2:
Spend the next three days on full-day safaris, exploring different parts of the reserve. With picnic-style breakfast and lunch packed for the day, you’ll stay out longer, increasing your chances of witnessing dramatic wildlife moments—from big cat encounters to massive herds on the move. Evenings are free to unwind, review your sightings, and enjoy the comforts of your stay.

Day 3:
Head out for a final morning game drive, soaking in the last sights and sounds of the savannah. After breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Nairobi airport, wrapping up a spectacular five-day adventure in the wild heart of Kenya.

Payment Terms
Cancellation Policy

– Sudden Inflation in the Exchange rate will be applicable on the cost at the time of booking
– All prices are inclusive of taxes and Exclusive of 18% GST
– 50% of the tour fee is required in advance to confirm your participation.
– Backers are participants who have been part of at least three Flying Hornbill Expeditions and are eligible for special privileges.
– Foreign Nationals may be subject to different fee structures as per national park regulations. Please contact us for a customized quote.

– If you wish to postpone your participation, the program fee (excluding forest permit charges, if any) can be retained, provided we are informed at least 60 working days before the program start date.
– 50% of the program fee will be charged if cancellation is made 60 working days before the program.
– No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 10 working days of the program. However, 50% of the tour fee can be adjusted towards any future tour if rebooked.
– The date of written communication via email will be considered as the official cancellation date for processing the applicable charges.

Twin/ Triple -sharing accommodation in comfortable rooms

All entry fees, guide fees, mentor fees and safaris

What is not Included?

Camera fees (participants will be advised of the estimated fees in advance)
All airfare and transfer expenses until Check-in and post Check-out
Any kind of personal expenses or optional tours, extra meals and beverages ordered
Insurance, laundry and phone calls
Bottled water, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
Tips and gratuities
Anything that is not included in the inclusion list
