Workshop Itenary

The day begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to digital photography, covering camera formats, resolutions, and the differences between DSLRs and point-and-shoot cameras. After a tea break, participants dive into understanding their cameras—focal length, magnification, and lens types—with hands-on experience.
Post-lunch, the focus shifts to core concepts like exposure, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and mastering manual mode. Practical sessions continue with metering, exposure compensation, and bracketing.
The afternoon includes focusing techniques, auto vs manual focus, depth of field, and how to control it effectively. After a short break, the workshop wraps up with artistic elements like composition and white balance, followed by a Q&A session and certificate distribution.
This one-day intensive blends theory and practical learning, perfect for anyone looking to strengthen their photography basics.

Cancellation Policy

– All prices are inclusive of taxes and Inclusive of 18% GST
– 100% of the workshop fee is required in advance to confirm your participation.
– Backers are participants who have been part of at least three Flying Hornbill Expeditions and are eligible for special privileges.

– If you wish to postpone your participation, the program fee (excluding forest permit charges, if any) can be retained, provided we are informed at least 10 working days before the program start date.
– 50% of the program fee will be charged if cancellation is made 10 working days before the program.
– No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 10 working days of the program.
– The date of written communication via email will be considered as the official cancellation date for processing the applicable charges.
