Who is this camp for?

Any child or teen between the ages of 10 and 16 is welcome to enroll in this camp. There are no other eligibility criteria.

My child is older or younger than 10 and 16. Can an exception be made?

The age group of the children has been carefully chosen to keep in mind the content and style of delivery. However, if your child is outside the age group and you’re interested in admitting him or her, please talk to us.

Is it Safe? Covid concerns?

We make sure we maintain all the covid protocols and do not populate our tours and always restrict our tours to limited groups. We also request you get in touch with your general physician before the tour to ensure safe travel.

How many participants can be expected to attend?

A maximum of 5 children are expected. Flying Hornbill's USP is to provide as much individual attention and quality time to each participant as possible and thus the camp strength has been kept low. We do not cater to very large groups per batch!

Where are we staying and what sort of accommodation and food can we expect?

We will be staying at a comfortable accommodation amidst nature for you and your kid. All camp participants will be staying in comfortable rooms. The food served is a delicious buffet spread of local and Indian delicacies.

How do I decide between Field Workshops and customized tours?

Field Workshops are focused on giving you in-depth knowledge of photography, processing, and natural history with the expertise of our mentor on the specific dates that we have come up with, If you just wish to enjoy your vacation on your specific dates with just a touch of wilderness experience we would recommend you to take up the customized tours.

Can we take our little one along for the camp?

We would love to educate the younger minds but do not recommend taking infants or smaller kids. Get in touch with us for more information.

What items should my child bring to this camp?

Once you register and pay for the camp, the camp instructor will send out the camp advice and general guidelines to every participant through email. This document will contain all the necessary information, a checklist of items to carry, etc.c

Will my child be safe during the camp?

Don’t worry at all! Your child’s safety is of paramount importance to us. The camp instructor is well-trained concerning child protection and health and safety.

How do I register my child?

Fill up the form in the ‘BOOK NOW’ section and we’ll get back to you with all the necessary details at the earliest.

How do I make the payment?

We have multiple payment options available from which you may choose one at your convenience. Details will be shared when we receive your enquiry

Do you do flight bookings?

Yes! We can provide you with assistance with the booking of your flight for the specific tour.

Do you provide camera gear on rent?

We do not run a rental store but can certainly help you with assistance in getting the perfect gear for the tour. Get in touch with us for more information.

Am I a beginner? Am I eligible?

Absolutely! We focus on educating photography enthusiasts of all levels as our field workshops mainly focus on educating on the grounds of photography, post-processing, and natural history but would not be a dedicated photography learning workshop. We recommend you take up the specific workshop “ Basic of Photography” which would help you get a grip on the concepts of photography and then step up to participating in the field workshops would be a better choice.
