Requirements for the Tour

Itinerary

The Program commences at Kumily (after you check in at the property) on the morning of day one and ends at Kumily (after you check out at the property) on the afternoon of day three.

Group transfers between the nearest railway station and airport on both ways in shared cabs can be arranged at extra actual cost.

Day 1

Participants arrive and check in at the property, where a delightful lunch is served to kick off the adventure. After lunch, the group heads out for a tranquil nature walk in the Periyar Tiger Reserve, immersing themselves in the lush wilderness and discovering the unique flora and fauna of the region. As the sun begins to set, we witness the captivating Kalaripayattu performance, the ancient and thrilling martial art that originated in Kerala, often regarded as the mother of all martial arts. After this cultural experience, we return to the property to enjoy a relaxing dinner before calling it a night.

Day 2

We begin day with an exciting and extended jeep safari, venturing into the unexplored parts of the Periyar Tiger Reserve. This thrilling ride takes us through the untouched beauty of the landscape, offering the chance to discover hidden waterfalls and ascend to the top peaks for breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The day is spent soaking in the natural beauty and adventure that the Periyar wilderness has to offer. In the evening, we return to the property for a well-deserved dinner and rest, reflecting on the day's adventures.

Day 3

The final day starts with an early wake-up call, allowing participants to take in the peaceful morning scenes at the property. After soaking in the serene environment, we head to a nearby elephant camp, where participants get the unique opportunity to interact with and learn about these majestic giants. After this enriching experience, we return to the property for a hearty breakfast before checking out, leaving with incredible memories from this wholesome adventure in the Periyar Tiger Reserve.

Payment Terms
Cancellation Fees

– 100% of the Tour fee as advance for confirmation of participation for the Tour.
– You are eligible to apply for the Backers category if you have attended more than three Flying Hornbill Workshops.

– Program fees can be retained excluding the charges paid for forest permits(if any) for postponement of the program without any changes Should be informed 10 days prior to the day of the program.
– 50% of the Program fees 10 days before the day of the Program.
– No money would be refunded for any day less than the 10 working days of the Program.
– The date of written (email) communication of intent to cancel is the date considered for calculation of the cancellation fees.
